The competition attracted 118 students from 68 schools nationwide in a grand showcase of their oratorical skills. The preliminary round was held in Nan Chiau Primary School with 12 judges invited to pick the top 16 finalists.

Kwok Yu Qian from Ai Tong School eventually emerged as the winner with his natural rendition of a speech featuring 6 different languages. Ho Ge Bun from Anglo-Chinese School (Junior) and Li Nina from Nan Chiau Primary School won the first and second runners-up, respectively. A big congratulation to all winners and a big thank you to all students, teachers and schools that had participated this year.
