Working closely with the Singapore Hokkien Huay Kuan, the Hokkien Foundation provides financial contribution to the following schemes:

Scholarships

Each year, the following scholarships are given to deserving candidates on merit basis:

•	Teachers' Scholarship
•	Arts and Cultural Scholarship

Awards and Bursaries

•	Model students of the Year Award
•	Meritorious Awards for Top students of each level
•	Bursary for needy students
•	Overseas Professional Training Awards for Teachers

Literature Awards

•	Essay Writing Competition for Primary School students
•	Creative Writing Competition for Secondary School Students
•	Literature Awards for students and undergraduates of JCs, Polytechnics and Universities

Institutional Donations

The Hokkien Foundation donates to various institutions of learning and charitable institutions on request, such as in Year 2003 to The Courage Fund, Singapore Tyler Print Institute, Tan Kah Kee Foundation and etc.
